As a thirty-plus year resident of Monterey County, I am continually awed by the amazing volunteer work accomplished in this area. So I was thrilled to be able to join the board of BCAG in August, 2016; just as I reached the five year cancer free date. I have also been volunteering as a patient navigator with the Cancer Resource Center in Salinas for a number of years to help women deal with their initial diagnosis and all the fears and struggles that come along with it. I truly believe that volunteering is the greatest way to change the world and BCAG is one of the best volunteer organizations that I have ever encountered. They truly make lives better for people suffering from breast cancer! I am married and have a grown daughter. My hobbies include cooking, reading, exercise and getting together with good friends.
