Jane, initially a secondary teacher and career counselor, is now retired from a local market research firm, Sullivan and Associates, which she owned for 17 years. In 2005, she was diagnosed with Stage 2, cancer of the right breast for which she received two years of treatment followed by 5 years of the drug Anastrazole. She loves world travel, reading, volunteering at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and spends time enjoying her wonderful Shetland Sheepdog, Calahan. She volunteered as a Cancer Navigator, when that program was running. The opportunity to “give back” and help other women as they navigate the challenges of breast cancer is a vital part of her survivorship program and commitment to BCAG.
